Aracena, Wednesday,class of March 2: Correct exercises about Gandhi

In this session we correct the exercises from the book of Gandhi. These are the activities:

Chapter 1-2
  1. Uncramble the letters in brackets to make woeds. Then use the words to complete the sentences.

    He read it and began to cry. He said nothing, but tore un the letter and turned aver in bed

    He changed his dresses and took dancing lessons, the learn to play the violin too.

    - Why did Gandhi write articles for a magazine in England?
    Because the magazione helped him to improve his english and also gave him motr confidence

    Gandhi didn't earn very much money as a lawyer un India. Finalle, he was forced to make an important decision. He thought it over. Carefill and decided to take a job in south Africa. After that, things became even worse.He had a first class ticket for a train journey to Pretoria, but he was askedto leave the comprtament because he was no white.     Because the judge said him that he took off your turban and he dindn't want.

     A policeman forced him to leave the train, because the first-class tickets is only for whites

    - What did Gandhi learnfrom his visit to the hotel in Pretoria?
    He learned that not everybody is prejudiced; some whites feel uncomfortable about the situation.

      He decided to start an organisation to help to Indians and many people joined it.

      You didn't fight with your hands or with guns. You marched, you organised strikes and sometimes you illegally crossed borders.

      - How did Gandhi's ideas about clothes cange?
      Now, he were a long white cotton shirt white cotton trousers and sandals every day.
